BEST, Inc. was co-founded in 2008 as an attempt to aid students in need of financial assistance to fulfill their dreams and goals of obtaining a college education. A post secondary education can be obtained with the assistance of a scholarship award from BEST, Inc. A mentor is assigned to each student who qualifies for an award and will follow the student throughout his/her college career.
It is the mission of the elected board to oversee that the mission and strategies set forth are incorporated in helping our students achieve their goals and dreams.
To mentor and inspire, to assist and enlighten and to partner with the area businesses and post secondary institutions in raising funds to fulfill our scholarship obligations.
The expectations of our award recipients is that they return to their community and seek and accept, if offered, employment for two years (24 consecutive months).
